Pollinator Partnership

A symbol of True Myth and the Central Coast, the monarch butterfly is among pollinators in danger. We proudly support Pollinator Partnership in their efforts to protect the pollinators.

The monarch butterfly is a symbol of the Central Coast, and of True Myth Wines. During their annual winter migration, these magnificent butterflies grace our vineyards on the route to one of the largest monarch groves in the US, Pismo State Beach (located just 15 minutes from our estate tasting room). The iconic orange and black pollinators were put on the endangered species list in July of 2022, as the monarch population has declined an estimated 90% in the past 10 years.

True Myth proudly supports the Pollinator Partnership in their mission to preserve pollinator habitat, and to protect the pollinators critical to the living systems of our planet. To learn more about all the important work of the Pollinator Partnership, visit their website. As you enjoy your next glass of True Myth, we invite you to consider planting native and flowering plants in your home garden that bloom in the spring, summer, and fall, to create a new habitat for your local pollinators.

Cheers!

Introducing Our New Look

We are excited to share the magical new look of True Myth’s nationally available Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The same beautiful wines you love are in the bottle, ready to enjoy. Prominently featuring our butterfly icon made of natural elements, we seek to delight and inspire the imagination of wine lovers to explore the flavors of the Central Coast. The transformation of the butterfly, from caterpillar to winged beauty, perfectly represents the transformation of our grapes - influenced by diverse soils, deep valleys, and ocean air - into wine. We invite you to savor a glass and take a cue from the majestic butterflies that grace our label and our vineyards; slow down, relax, and appreciate natural wonder.

Our 2020 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon will be available at a store near you, online, and at the tasting room in early 2023.

Our 2021 Edna Valley Chardonnay will be released later in 2023.
